I received one of these emails myself and decided to investigate and expose it publicly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s everything you need to know so you don&#8217;t fall for this trick, especially if Good Day, Would you be available to work with our company on a contract basis? However, based on our research:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>No official sources or verified profiles confirm a <strong>real Jimmy Wang<\/strong> working at HBIS Group.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Some LinkedIn profiles using this name either lack credibility (no photo, no followers, or posts) or are linked to <strong>other companies like POSCO or Resilience Pharmaceuticals<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Twitter\/X.com user has also shared the <strong>exact scam email<\/strong> publicly, raising further red flags. See the live proof from his Twitter post I have shared below in the post.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It appears that scammers are <strong>misusing a common name<\/strong> to make the job offer seem legitimate. As of now, there is <strong>no evidence<\/strong> that any real person named <strong>Jimmy Wang from HBIS Group<\/strong> (<strong>Jimmy Wang HBIS Group<\/strong>) or <strong>HBIS Group<\/strong> is involved in this scam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Why_This_Is_100_an_Account_Receivable_Agent_Job_Scam\"><\/span>Why This Is 100% an Account Receivable Agent Job Scam<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s break it down:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1_%E2%9C%85_Too_good_to_be_true\"><\/span>1. \u2705 <strong>Too good to be true<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>No company offers this kind of pay for basic tasks without vetting your skills or experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_%E2%9D%8C_Gmail_address_instead_of_company_domain\"><\/span>2. \u274c <strong>Gmail address instead of company domain<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A legit company like HBIS Group would never use a Gmail address for official business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_%F0%9F%95%B5%EF%B8%8F_No_connection_to_my_actual_profile\"><\/span>3. \ud83d\udd75\ufe0f <strong>No connection to my actual profile<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I never applied to HBIS. My skills don\u2019t match the job.
